Hi! I'm Sophie.

I'm a New York writer currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from Stony Brook University. As an undergraduate, I was the founding editor-in-chief of Sandpiper Review.  I primarily write fiction, but I also love poetry and playwriting. My work has been featured in BOMB, The Baffler, The Los Angeles Review, Identity Theory, and elsewhere. I have attended the Iowa Writers Workshop, and I currently read for Fractured Lit and The Southampton Review. My mini-chapbook "Little Divinities" was the runner-up for the 2023 MAYDAY Poetry Prize.
